To answer the first question: Yes, you can easily do. And if you are a seat or other use under a truck of the same type of structure likely to be in a position without a new mounting holes to do.
Ask your local recycling (scrap) meters. If you do not find what you want it. There are not that large online companies. LKQ comes to mind. And eBay is a good place to look.
